Many of the components that we treat end up in damp or corrosive environments. Water Immersion is a corrosion-testing technique that is characterized by the full or partial submersion of a metal in water to evaluate its corrosive response in similar application environments. This particular test is required for customer products that have become passive after our chemical passivation process.
